The Design Files Open house is back for 2013 and I was one of the lucky makers to be asked to contribute! I pinch myself!
For the 2013 open house I have taken my rope baskets and dipped them in a thick stark white paint, then once dried, dipped them in a beautiful rich Dulux contrast colour.
The result is a hard, almost concrete textured rope vessel for your home. Each item is hand made by me, (O.K. sometimes Duncan has to roll up his sleeves and slip into an art smock), and no two items are the same.
I am so excited to be rubbing shoulders with such amazing talent. Both my Mum and my Sister have already made plans to pick up and touch everything in the house.
